At Creative Change, we utilize the Six Capacities Framework to help leaders gain a deeper understanding of what drives them and what gets in their way.
These six patterns reflect how people relate to power, purpose, community, and change. They are not fixed traits or personality types. They are lenses. Each capacity comes with strengths to build on and blind spots to watch for. This framework is woven into our coaching, facilitation, and leadership development work. As a visual communication expert, facilitator, and coach, Summer brings a unique approach to leadership development—one that blends strategic clarity with human understanding. Her work is grounded in the belief that when people can see things clearly, they can lead with more confidence and care.
She holds certifications in Gallup CliftonStrengths Coaching, the Grove Strategic Visioning Process, the Drexler/Sibbet Team Performance Model, and ValueMatch Spiral Dynamics. She is also a certified professional coach and a member of the International Forum of Visual Practitioners.

Founder & Creative Ventures
Through Let’s Summerize, Summer offers visual facilitation and coaching designed to help individuals and teams find clarity, momentum, and direction. She also created The Getaway, a retreat and coaching space near Lake Minnetonka for workshops, private sessions, and creative thinking.
Creative Change is the natural next step in this work—a space for leadership consulting that draws from her full range of experience in systems thinking, design, facilitation, and reflective coaching.
Community & Intersectional Work
Summer cares deeply about creative placemaking and community-based work. In San Francisco’s Mission District, she helped lead the transformation of Kenney Alley, turning a neglected passage into a vibrant public space filled with mosaics, murals, and vertical gardens. The project was a collaboration with neighbours and artists and continues to be a source of civic pride and local connection.
Recent Highlights
Today, Summer works independently across a variety of roles, including coach, facilitator, visual storyteller, and retreat guide. She partners with authors, organizations, and leadership teams to provide graphic recording, strategy sessions, and workshops such as Out of the Fog, created for women navigating moments of uncertainty or transition.
